California Fracking Jobs
California has a reputation (largely deserved) for being overly environmentally conscious. At the same time, the Golden State’s political leadership seems increasingly hostile to private enterprise. These two traits must change, however, if California is to continue as the economic powerhouse that it has been for many decades. In contrast with its left-leaning persona, California is actually one of the top oil-producing states. Gaze out at the Pacific from some of the state’s more famous beaches, and you’re likely to see a handful of oil platforms. While the discussion surrounding fracking is just beginning to take place within the state, California fracking jobs will inevitably become the types of high-paying jobs that even environmentalists might grudgingly accept as anti-fracking “hysteria” fades.
